The Last of Us Pt I

While working on the Last of Us remake, I was responsible for lighting the characters in each cinematic, along with adjusting post-process render settings and in some cases also working on the level lighting (baking lightmaps and capturing reflections for the environments). I worked with the art director to re-envision the Last of Us, which was challenging at times because the original lighting still looks fantastic! We’ve definitely had major technical updates since the initial 2013 launch, so I was excited to see what we could achieve with our real-time lighting and rendering on the Playstation 5.
